Pic on Pole

At Motorland Aragón in Spain, Arthur Pic was on pole in DAMS' debut in Formula Renault 3.5.  Having been fastest in practice, Pic came into the session full of confidence and set the fastest lap early on, before seeing it bettered by Lotus driver Richie Stanaway.  At the halfway point in the session, all the drivers put on new sets of tyres, and Korjus and Bianchi bettered Stanaway's time, before Pic went fastest with a time of 1:40.027.  Qualifying 2^nd for race 1 today was Nick Yelloly, followed by Kevin Korjus. Kevin Magnussen will be disappointed to only have qualified 19^th, as will Lewis Williamson who was down in 22^nd.
