Félix da Costa takes the first pole of the season

In qualifying for the first race of the GP3 Series season António Félix da Costa set the fastest lap of the session with a time of 1:38.642, just beating Conor Daly who was only 8 hundredths of a second slower.  This is the first time that the Portuguese driver has been on pole in GP3 Series.  Aaro Vainio will start from 3^rd on the grid, and Mitch Evans qualified 4^th. Kevin Ceccon failed to set a time during the session and so will start from 26^th. Tio Ellinas, who qualified 6^th is currently under investigation over a possible yellow flag infringement.
